This week it was announced that iOFFICE is one of the nation’s fastest growing private companies on Inc.’s annual 500|5000 list. We are also proud to announce that we were included in the top 25 software companies in Texas. But we didn’t really have anything to do with that – it was all you!  Our wonderful digital workplace customers and our devoted yet innovative employees made this honor possible. We are so grateful to you all, and we truly thank you.

This year’s list was one of the most competitive yet. The average company on Inc.’s list achieved a mind boggling three-year growth of 433% with an 8% growth in the number of jobs added to payroll. Between all of the companies listed the Inc. 5000 created 640,000 opportunities over the past 3 years. Combined the award winners also yielded $200 billion in aggregate revenue. We are so humbled to be included among such strong performing, innovative and leading companies.

Introduced in 1982 as the Inc. 500 list to recognize the country’s fastest-growing privately held companies, the prestigious list evolved into the Inc. 5000 list in 2007 and has become a testament to entrepreneurial success. Well-known brands such as Zillow, Under Armour and Intuit, have all been featured on the list in the past, all who also happen to use iOFFICE’s robust and agile SaaS technology.

We dug a little deeper to learn more about our fellow award winners. We found to no surprise that the top five industries that use our tools make up nearly 25% of this year’s list. We know part of their success is because these companies are focused on employee experiences and improving engagement, a key to retaining top talent and growing a small business. The top five are; Health (31%), Software (27%), Finance (20%), Retail (13%) and Energy (7%).

The Inc. 5000 is a national list comprised of rock star companies from all over the United States in varying industries. However, we looked into our fellow Texas companies to see how we as a state did overall. As it turns out, we did pretty well. A total of 8% of the honorees on this year’s list are located in Texas while of that percentage, 100 are located in Houston. Way to go fellow Texas companies!

Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

If you want to learn more about how your workplace can get on the list next year, take a look at Inc.’s page outlining the requirements.  By keeping your workplace mission focused around providing for your workforce and developing the best service you can, you’ll be right on track to make Inc.’s list in the very near future.
