Alex Newman

Alex joined the iOFFICE team in 2018 with an extensive expertise in entrepreneurial business development and in building both enterprise sales and implementation teams. He excels at growing organizations with technologies that truly impact the connected workplace and align with each company’s business objectives.

A versatile sales executive, private equity partner and board member, Alex has led numerous companies to national success including, and most recently, the acquisition of TRIRIGA by IBM, a successful B2B Ecommerce IPO, a brick and mortar acquisition of Fan Outfitters collegiate retail powerhouse by LIDS, and the rapid growth of Proof Fitness. As one of the first employees and VP of Sales at Tririga, he ran inbound and outbound enterprise sales. Recognizing the need to connect real estate, space, construction, maintenance and energy optimization, Tririga built a the world class platform to become the first Integrated Workplace Management System [IWMS] on the market. Alex was instrumental in TRIRIGA’s significant growth and developing a roster of Fortune 1000 customers. After leading the acquisition of Tririga by IBM, Alex was recruited into IBM’s Tivoli division, then onto the Pure Application Group as the Business Unit Leader, and eventually as the Business Unit Leader for the Cloud, managing an enterprise team for the Eastern US.

Alex is graduate of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where he played football as a linebacker. He lives in Kentucky with his wife of 20 years and teenage twins. He is an avid outdoorsman and in his free time, enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing.
