Kate Lister, President, Global Workplace Analytics
Why She’s Awesome: Kate’s research-based consulting organization helps employers make the case for workplace flexibility in the form of remote work, activity-based working, hoteling and more. Her most recent work has focused on the ROI of improving employee productivity.
What She’ll Cover: The conversation about improving the workplace is shifting away from discussions about buildings to discussions that are largely about people. While facility managers and workplace leaders have traditionally thought of this as HR’s domain, Lister uses concrete data to illustrate the FM’s role in improving employee engagement and productivity.

Dan Ryan, CEO, VergeSense
Why He’s Awesome: As the CEO of a leading people-counting and analytics software company, Dan Ryan brings a unique perspective on collecting and using workplace data. He also founded ByteLight, one of the pioneers of LED-based indoor positioning systems (later acquired by Acuity.) This development is now a standard offering across almost every lighting OEM.
What He’ll Cover: Expect to hear him share best practices for implementing IoT sensors and using sensor data to optimize your workplace.
