  • David Callahan

    Executive VP of Engineering

David Callahan has joined iOFFICE as the Executive Vice President of Engineering. He is responsible for leading all engineering activities and driving growth and excellence within the engineering teams. David shapes and directs the execution of technology strategy to successfully deliver the very best products to customers.

His extensive engineering background includes positions at Microsoft and Dell and several successful startup companies. David saw joining iOFFICE as an exciting opportunity to be part of a movement that has the potential to change the way organizations plan and execute their business.

“We’ve got a very strong portfolio, a world-class leadership team, and the opportunity to drive innovation in an exciting direction.”

David is innovative, thoughtful, and people-oriented.

“I went into (this industry) with the hope of making people’s lives easier. I love that technology can improve our standard of living. We have an opportunity to really make a difference in the lives of workers on a daily basis.”

At the heart of his approach: Making a difference. As a leader, David believes in empowering people. He leads his team’s direction by enabling their success and establishing trust.

David has been coding since he was 11 years old. Interestingly enough, his childhood dream was to become a doctor. In school, he took advanced level science classes, all while being involved in Boy Scouts, competitive ballroom dancing, cross-country, and the debate team. Originally pre-med, when David took computer science courses in college, it was a natural fit. When he realized there was an opportunity to make a living while having fun by coding, he made the switch - and the rest is history!

Adventurous and active, David spends much of his time outdoors and competes in many different forms of competitive cycling, a passion he shares with his oldest son. He lives in Austin, Texas with his four children, who range in age from 14-21, and his two dogs: Rico and Ginger. David is also active in supporting charitable causes, including building and maintaining a website focused on helping families and individuals who are in need of education and/or services to assist them in becoming self-reliant.
