iOFFICE Announces Implementation with BMC Software
HOUSTON, TX (May 23, 2013) – iOffice, a leading Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) and facility solutions provider, announced today that it will increase servicing contracts with BMC Software, a business service management provider and consulting company based in Houston. BMC Software currently utilizes iOffice’s IWMS space and move modules, and soon will employ the beta version of iOffice’s new hoteling program module.

Finalized in May, the agreement between the two organizations bolsters the existing relationship between iOffice and BMC. The expanded software will provide BMC with additional methods of managing its 800,000 square foot office space in Houston. With the new module added, BMC’s 6,500 global employees will now have the opportunity to reserve rooms for their individual needs. The system also opens up the possibility for BMC to allow certain employees to work from home or telework on occasion.
The hoteling module is completely integrated with the current space and move platforms. This simplifies systematic updates for all of the software with the API or Automated Program Interface. As data is updated through one system, it automatically updates the remaining systems. The additional module will only increase BMC’s visibility of its buildings and employee needs.
