HOUSTON, TX (March, 20 2014)– iOFFICE, an industry leader in customized integrated workplace management software solutions (IWMS), announced the planned release of their completely remodeled software application.

The iOFFICE IWMS web-based software includes 10 modules that offer a wide range of services that help facilities managers run their buildings more efficiently. Currently the program includes space, move, asset, service request, file, and visitor management, room reservations, mail room and copy management, and supply monitoring. The modules are offered separately or can be integrated together depending on the customers’ needs.Screen_Shot_2014-03-13_at_7.53.34_AM

iOFFICE often develops updates to enhance the system their customers use everyday. However, this update applies to all modules, and will completely change the way the interface appears.

The new user interface features a completely redesigned look, and a modern, sleek style that will be easier to navigate for users. The development team used customer feedback and various pain points to redesign the site. The team also considered various themes and current trends for inspiration while designing the new look.

The new user interface will operate in the same way– it will simply have a clean and more modern look. The most noticeable change for users is the navigation will move from the top to the left side bar. The new interface also boasts many important improvements to the user experience including performance improvements and showing descriptions to navigation options. The new look will alsincrease visibility of features such as changing user profile, log out and help sections.

This new interface will also include our new reporting engine, we’ll provide more in depth information on this soon.

“By taking the opportunity to rethink the core of the navigation we allowed ourselves to learn from past mistakes and to capitalize on past successes”, said Kenton Gray, iOFFICE’s CTO. “At iOFFICE we strive to find ways toimprove the user experience and we are excited to share this new interface to all of our customers. With this new interface we have many opportunities for future improvements”

The software company will begin rolling out this update with a few select customers, and will collect feedback to make any necessary changes. Then the new appearance will become available to all existing accounts in May.
