The International Facilities Management Association’s annual World Workplace conference is regarded as the largest and most anticipated event in the facilities industry. This year the conference has some big boots to fill, as it will be held in IFMA’s hometown of Houston, Texas.  This year is promising to be special for us as well, not only because we call Houston home too, but we have some big news we can’t wait to share with everyone next week.

From the NASA Space Center facility tour, the rodeo-themed welcome reception, and the Hurricane Harvey relief community service project, your schedule is probably pretty packed this year for World Workplace. Thousands of facilities leaders gather each year to collaborate, learn and celebrate what it means to work in FM. IFMA has always supported this crowd during World Workplace with an impressive lineup of exhibitors plus industry leaders that come to speak about innovations in the way we work and where the future of the workplace is headed.

For the third year in a row we are delighted to announce our co-founder, Elizabeth Dukes, will be hosting a discussion during World Workplace’s Educational Sessions. This interactive presentation will feature some of our industry’s greatest minds and will be focused around Creating the Employee-Centric Digital Workplace to show facilities leaders how they can empower their workforce.

The digital workplace is the new norm, creating great corporate culture and increasing productivity. Learn how your company can empower collaboration across all departments of your workplace during this educational session hosted by our co-founder, Elizabeth Dukes, and featuring Sara Baldi, VP of Global Workplace for McKesson, and Seth Lustyan, Business Analytics Manager for CBRE.

In this dynamic discussion, you’ll learn how to apply your company culture, values paired with the power of workplace technology to support workforce engagement around FM technologies. They’ll also show you ways your organization can foster collaboration between FM, HR, IT and CRE to create and support clearly defined goals and objectives, and how to evaluate digital workplace programs to increase employee engagement.

The iOFFICE Marketplace Partners

We’re thrilled to welcome a few of our iOFFICE Marketplace partners to World Workplace with us this year. Representatives from SpaceTrak, ROAM and Current by GE will all be available during expo floor hours to show visitors how powerful their programs’ integration with iOFFICE can be.

Looking to incorporate wayfinding solutions at your workplace? iOFFICE’s partner ROAM, provides a digital signage solution to help increase employee engagement and navigation at your office. Their sleek, modern design and simple, easy-to-use platform make it easy to not only find your way, but users can also manage screens and post updates to kiosks in real time.

Taking a holistic approach to energy intelligence, Current blends advanced energy technologies such as solar panels and LED lighting with networked sensors and software to make your workplace  efficient. Learn more about our integration with Current during expo hours at booth #947.

Our Marketplace partner, SpaceTrak, will be at our booth talking about how their system can help users eliminate the cost of over (or under) estimating spatial needs for their workplace. This integration allows users to analyze future needs, explore multiple spacing and occupancy options and estimates future project costs.

Pack your boots and your cowboy best, and we’ll meet you in Houston!
